    Cambridge Minor Baseball
    As Executive Vice President of CMBA, Shona Majuery is the driving force behind the organization’s success. Tirelessly dedicating 20–30 hours each week, she has led major initiatives including the transition to ONCA bylaws, a full website overhaul, and improved league operations. Known for her calm leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment, Shona’s behind-the-scenes dedication keeps CMBA thriving—making her a truly deserving recipient of the 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award.

Started in 2023, this award will be issued annually to an ICBA select team to recognize their outstanding accomplishments and who embrace the values of ICBA and inspire others to be strong leaders both on and off the baseball field.

    Guelph Royals 11U Select Team #2
    Head Coach: Mark Patrick
    The Guelph 11U Select team achieved extraordinary success in 2024, finishing 10-0 in league play and 4-0 in ICBA playoffs. With only three returning players, this newly formed group quickly developed strong chemistry, skill, and confidence under exceptional leadership. Their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship stood out all season—transforming a roster of newcomers into champions and earning them recognition as the 2025 ICBA Select Team of the Year.

    Guelph 18U Tier 1
    Head Coach: Greg Killingbeck
    The Guelph 18U Tier 1 team capped off an incredible season by winning the 2025 OBA Provincial Championship—an achievement that reflects years of hard work, teamwork, and determination. Finishing 17-7 in league play and undefeated at AA OBAs, they displayed resilience, focus, and exceptional skill. Guided by Coach Greg Killingbeck’s steady leadership, this cohesive, positive, and talented group truly embodies the spirit of excellence in ICBA baseball.
Steve Tabar Local Association of the Year

Awarded annually to an ICBA centre who demonstrates excellence in a variety of areas. The criteria for this award takes into consideration attendance at meetings, administration and timeliness, participation in ICBA leadership and programs, hosting tournaments, league, playoff and provincial championship results, and awards associations that have the fewest disciplinary concerns throughout the season.

    D.J. James
    Brantford Minor Baseball
    With 30 years of experience, DJ James is a cornerstone of Brantford Minor Baseball. In 2025, he umpired 80 games across all levels, from 10U to 22U rep and house league, including numerous playoff and championship matches. Known for his reliability, expertise, and mentorship, DJ consistently steps up to high-pressure games and supports younger umpires. His dedication, professionalism, and leadership make him a truly deserving recipient of the 2025 Senior Umpire of the Year Award.

    Cooper Ireland
    Guelph Royals 18U Select
    Cooper Ireland had an outstanding first season with the Guelph 18U Select team, hitting .528 and contributing across multiple positions including catcher and second base. His leadership behind the plate, ability to read the game, and positive energy elevated his teammates’ performance. Cooper’s talent, growth, versatility, and unwavering spirit make him an exceptional athlete and a well-deserved 2025 Senior Select Player of the Year.

    Tyson Evans
    Guelph Royals 18U Select
    Tyson Evans of Guelph 18U Select has shown tremendous growth as both a pitcher and player. Over 21 games, he contributed as a starter and closer, reliably carrying the team from the mound. His dedication, consistency, and ability to perform in high-pressure situations have made him an indispensable part of the team, earning him recognition as the 2025 Senior Select Pitcher of the Year.

    Grady Murphy
    Stratford Nationals 18U Tier 1
    Grady Murphy had an exceptional season with the Stratford 18U Tier 1 team, hitting .438 with 33 RBIs and a 6-0 pitching record. A true gamer, Grady’s work ethic, versatility as a pitcher and outfielder, and leadership on and off the field inspired his teammates. Dependable in big situations and committed to excellence, his love for the game and consistent performance make him a deserving 2025 Senior Rep Player of the Year.

    Jaxx Carthy
    Waterloo Tigers 18U T1
    Jaxx Carthy of Waterloo 18U Tier 1 has had an outstanding 2025 season, establishing himself as the team’s ace. Over 53 innings pitched, he posted a 7-1 record with 63 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.321, dominating opposing hitters with poise and precision. Jaxx’s leadership, consistency, and competitive drive, combined with his all-around skills, make him a true cornerstone of the team and a deserving recipient.

    Kurtis Haid
    Waterloo Tigers 16U
    Kurtis Haid of Waterloo led the 16U team to an 18-6 record, including a perfect 5-0 sweep at the AA OBA’s. Following in his father’s footsteps, Kurtis has been a dedicated WMBA coach, known for his passion, patience, and deep knowledge of the game. Beyond team success, he ran a 12-week catching program attended by 30 players across 20 teams, showing his commitment to player development. As a non-parent coach, Kurtis has been a positive role model and a driving force in nurturing talent.

    Chad Wells
    Guelph Royals 13U Select
    Chad Wells coached Guelph’s 13U Select team, exceeding expectations by finishing atop the ICBA standings. He fostered a positive team culture, emphasizing skill development, versatility, and teamwork. Chad’s calm, encouraging style helped players grow on and off the field, while balancing competition and fun. His leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication created a memorable season, leaving a lasting impact on players, families, and the Guelph baseball community.

    Tyson Menard
    Brantford Minor Baseball
    At just 16 years old, Level 2 umpire Tyson Menard has had an outstanding 2025 season, officiating 42 rep games across multiple divisions from 8U to 14U and Select. Trusted in high-stakes games including semi-finals and championship matches, Tyson has quickly adapted to higher levels of play. Known for his eagerness to learn, composure, and reliability, he has earned the respect of fellow umpires and is Brantford’s 2025 Junior Umpire of the Year.

    Tanner Seaton
    Guelph Royals 13U Select
    Tanner Seaton had a standout season with the Guelph 13U Select team, excelling at multiple positions including pitcher, catcher, and infield/outfield roles. Offensively, he hit .423 with 25 RBIs and 21 stolen bases, while defensively he showed exceptional growth behind the plate and a keen baseball IQ, making game-changing plays. Tanner’s dedication, coachability, and all-around skill make him a deserving 2025 Junior Select Player of the Year.

Awarded annually to a junior-aged select pitcher (8U-13U) who demonstrated an outstanding season as a pitcher while also exemplifying characteristics of dedication, sportsmanship, and a high level of athletic ability.

    Nicholas Keenan
    Guelph Royals 11U Select
    Nicholas Keenan was Guelph’s go-to pitcher for every big game and tournament this season. He excelled in high-pressure situations, consistently holding opposing teams in check. Pitching 55.1 innings with a 14-1 record, Nicky’s reliability, performance, and versatility across multiple positions made him an invaluable asset, earning him five Player of the Game awards and this well-deserved recognition.

    Nash Holmes
    Waterloo Tigers 12U T1
    Nash Holmes had an outstanding season with the Waterloo 12U Tier 1 team, hitting .523 with a .597 on-base percentage, 72 RBIs, 44 stolen bases, and a .977 fielding percentage. A versatile player at pitcher, catcher, and shortstop, Nash also excelled with Host City Woodstock at the U13 Canadian Championships. His leadership, clutch performance, and maturity on and off the field make him a well-deserving 2025 Junior Rep Player of the Year.

    Cassius Fonseca
    Waterloo Tigers 11U Tier 1
    Cassius “Cash” Fonseca of Waterloo 11U Tier 1 had an outstanding 2025 season, pitching 46.1 innings with a 1.29 ERA and 69 strikeouts. He also contributed offensively, batting .396 with 27 RBIs. Cash’s leadership and energy on the mound lifted the team, and his infectious positive attitude inspired teammates both on and off the field. Performing at a high level against top competition across the province, Cash is a deserving Junior Pitcher of the Year.

    Andrew Robb
    Waterloo Tigers 12U Tier 1
    Andrew Robb of Waterloo led the 12U Tier 1 team to a 45-12-3 record, winning the Brampton Classic and the ICBA Championship while reaching the semifinals in Mississauga and Sandusky, Ohio tournaments. Beyond wins, Andrew is deeply committed to developing young athletes both on and off the field, focusing on resilience, leadership, teamwork, and fitness. He dedicates hours analyzing games, refining rosters, and collaborating with coaches to maximize player growth.
Brenda Wideman Registrar of the Year

Introduced in 2022, this award will be awarded annually in honour of the late Brenda Wideman to a local registrar who exemplifies an unwavering passion for the game, attention to details, and a strong commitment to giving back.

    Rob Jackson
    Woodstock Minor Baseball
    Rob Jackson continues to set the standard for excellence as Woodstock Minor Baseball’s registrar. Even when faced with a new roster submission process, Rob adapted seamlessly, ensuring every roster was accurate and complete. While other associations faced challenges obtaining proper releases, Rob’s attention to detail ensured nothing was missed. His consistency, diligence, and professionalism make him a truly deserving repeat recipient of the 2025 Registrar of the Year award.
Arthur Fach Award

In memory of the late Arthur Fach (Commissioner of the Junior IBL for over 30 years) in recognition of a volunteer whose contributions extend beyond the baseball field and make an impact on a larger societal scale. This award is not issued annually.
