With 30 years of experience, DJ James is a cornerstone of Brantford Minor Baseball. In 2025, he umpired 80 games across all levels, from 10U to 22U rep and house league, including numerous playoff and championship matches. Known for his reliability, expertise, and mentorship, DJ consistently steps up to high-pressure games and supports younger umpires. His dedication, professionalism, and leadership make him a truly deserving recipient of the 2025 Senior Umpire of the Year Award.

Respected throughout the region for his fairness, consistency, and professionalism, Daniel Weir has become one of Waterloo’s most requested senior umpires. Known for his calm authority and clear communication, he earns the respect of players and coaches alike, ensuring every game is managed with integrity and control. Beyond his on-field excellence, Dan is a mentor to developing umpires, offering guidance and creating learning moments for all involved in the game. A true leader and ambassador.

Since 2018 when Liam became an umpire he has been assigned to 185 games from 8U house league, to 16U EBLO travel games. Out of the 185 games assigned, 87 were officiated this past season. Liam has always worked well with his partners - the more senior adult umpires, umpires from his own peer group, as well as mentoring new umpires. His consistency as an official made him a favourite among coaches. He was solid, reliable and over-the-top more than helpful.

Having just completed his 10th season, Jack has long ago proven to be a dedicated, conscientious and reliable OBA carded umpire. He has been assigned to over 400 games, at every division in house league, select and travel and EBLO baseball, including assignments in tournament play, where competition levels are intensified. In 2022 Jack lead the pack in the number of games umpired. He seeks out his partner and they go over communication and situational plays to ensure there is no confusion.
