An effective and reliable pitcher for the Waterloo Tigers. He has contributed in 7 wins for the Tigers (4 wins + 2 saves) in 14 games that he pitched. Preston was the team's ace but also contributed at the plate and in the field. He finished the year with 131 strikeouts over 71 innings. Preston finished the season 12-3-0 as a starter, with a 2.55 ERA. Coaches in the 16U league this past year said on numerous occasions that Preston was the top pitcher in the league and one of the best they have ever faced.Preston is a pleasure to coach and continues to learn more and more about this great game.
