The Guelph 18U Tier 1 team capped off an incredible season by winning the 2025 OBA Provincial Championship—an achievement that reflects years of hard work, teamwork, and determination. Finishing 17-7 in league play and undefeated at AA OBAs, they displayed resilience, focus, and exceptional skill. Guided by Coach Greg Killingbeck’s steady leadership, this cohesive, positive, and talented group truly embodies the spirit of excellence in ICBA baseball.

The Waterloo 15U Tier 1 team demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and unity through a season marked by both triumph and loss. Following the passing of beloved coach Dave Jantzi, the team—led by Derek Babcock—rallied together, finishing with an outstanding 19-4 record and winning the ICBA playoffs. Their determination, sportsmanship, and ability to persevere through adversity make them a truly deserving 2024 Rep Team of the Year.

The Guelph Royals 10U AAA team completed their season with a final record of 40-5.Their Team achievements included finishing first in the regular season , ICBA Champs and OBA AAA ICBA representatives. The team has been made up of the core group since 8U and are continuing to develop well still having fun playing the game. They had a goal at the beginning of the season to be competitive but also push each other to be the best versions of themselves. GMBA is proud to have this team represent them.

The Guelph Royals 12U AAA team completed their season with a final record of 40-5. The team started off the season with a tournament victory in the Milton Royal and Orange AAA tournament in May. The Royals amassed a 21-3 record in league play throughout the year finishing in 1st place in the standings and claiming the T1 ICBA Championship. The Royals managed to rattle off 4 consecutive wins to reach the finals and ultimately secure the AAA championship.

The team had an incredible season that was capped off with an ICBA championship. They finished their regular season 18-2-1. They averaged 11.5 runs per game in the regular season, but even more impressive was the fact they allowed only 3.33 runs per game over the season. The players competed hard at practice to prepare themselves for games and this group of players played well beyond their years with composure rarely seen from a team of 12 year olds.
