The Inter County Baseball Association is pleased to announce that Paul Ewart has been selected as the Head Coach for our 16U Boys team competing at the Ontario Summer Games.
Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep-rooted passion for the sport, with a baseball career spanning nearly 40 years as both a player and a coach. His appointment ensures that our 16U athletes will be led by a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success at the local, collegiate, and provincial levels.
A Proven Track Record of Excellence
Paul’s coaching resume is extensive, highlighted by his current roles as the Head Coach of the Laurier Golden Hawks Baseball Team and the Waterloo 16U team.
His leadership has consistently produced results, including:

Awards: 2023 ICBA & WMBA Senior Coach of the Year; 2015 WMBA Junior Coach of the Year.

Paul is dedicated to showcasing the elite talent within our association on a provincial stage. His coaching approach focuses on mastering the fundamentals, encouraging a strong work ethic, and ensuring a positive environment for the players. As the current 16U coach in Waterloo, he is uniquely positioned to evaluate the talent across the league throughout the season to build the strongest possible roster for the Games.
