Junior Coach of the Year

Awarded annually to a junior level coach (8U-13U) who guides their athletes to success in sport and in life by instilling in them the values of honesty, integrity, a positive attitude, competitiveness, and a love of sport.

Past Season's Recipient

Jr Coach

Sarah Marckesano

Brantford 12U Tier 1

Sarah stressed player development all year and it paid off in the end. She had many chances to shorten the lineup to 9 players but kept it at 10 including the final game to win the 12U AA OBA Championship. Sarah is always the first to congratulate a player on the other team for a good play or performance. All the players look up to her and respect her. Sarah showed her caring and community side of things when one of the parents had to have surgery and she organized a team meal plan to have meals dropped off for the family so they had one less thing to worry about.
